JOB Title: Optician (Retail Experience)

A growing Player in the market delivering quality products in frames, lens and related eyewear accessories. The company is Oakbrook/Chicago based with a focus on North America customers and market. If you are ABO certified and enjoy working directly with customers on the retail (online) side of the business, you could be the right fit for this position.
Core Responsibilities

Review/confirm prescriptions from online customers before releasing orders to our lab

Educate customers on our lens and other product offering while answering related questions

Coordinate with Customer Service to assure team effort, best presentation and excellent service to the customer

Offer input and decision making to determine need for in-house equipment and processes to support the customer

Provide adjustment and/or adjustment instructions for eyewear frames and other products as needed

Communicate with Customers’ physicians to obtain complete and accurate prescription information when needed

Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook, Word
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred

ABO Certified
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in Optician work

Ability to operate lensometry related and other equipment

Experience in eyewear retail business a plus

Bi or Multi-Lingual a plus
